Founder owner Jayne Davies has been catering for more than 30 years, cutting her teeth at the feet of the likes of celebrity chef Jamie Oliver.

Her most noted achievements abroad were catering for Prince William’s 21st Birthday Party and a three year spell catering for the North Sea Jazz Festival.

Back in Cape Town, she was official caterer for the Stormers Rugby Team and the Newlands Stadium before discovering the eastern Cape and choosing to escape city life, settling in Jeffreys Bay in 2005.

Noticing that she could not get a cup of real barista made coffee, a loaf of artisan bread or an interesting vegetarian meal led to the opening of Infood.

Nina’s Real Food was opened by us, the Smith Family, in Jeffreys Bay in 2010. Our successful take-away in East London was established in 1989. We relocated to Jeffreys Bay as we are passionate

about the town, lifestyle, people and obviously the surf! Nina’s is named after our first born daughter who passed away very young. We have since been blessed with three beautiful surfer girls who are

all hands on in the family business when not competing or just surfing!

Our multi functional complex is situated on the beachfront of the Southern side of the main beach in Jeffreys Bay. It has breathtaking views over the bay, the distant mountains and one of the several world famous surf breaks in Jeffreys bay namely Kitchen Windows. An extensive menu comprising of seafood, beef, poultry, traditional local dishes and several exotic dishes. Furthermore our extensive wine list includes wines and spirits from numerous South African wine estates and regions that are made to satisfy and tantalize your palate.

The name “Kitchen Windows” refers to the surf spot to the right of the restaurant. Jeffreys bay has always been one of the best fishing areas in south Africa. The fishermen used to refer to the area now called Kitchen Windows as little Reef.

It became a popular surf spot during the 60’s and the spot became known AS Kitchen Windows as the surfers of the time looked through their kitchen window to see if the surf was firing.
